Consistently outstanding. We feel like we get a fairly authentic meal at a very affordable price - and at a convenient location. The staff are very attentive and the food is absolutely delicious. They have some common menu items and some uncommon menu items; they are definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely Phenomenal Chinese Dining Experience! New Szechuan is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting, not just in Winston-Salem but anywhere! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the incredible aroma of authentic Chinese spices and dishes cooking in the kitchen. It’s enough to make your mouth water before you even sit down. The food here is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish is crafted with such authenticity that it feels like a trip to the heart of China. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes to satisfy every craving—whether you’re a fan of spicy Szechuan specialties or prefer something milder like their stir-fried noodles or dumplings. I highly recommend their Kung Pao Chicken and Ma Po Tofu—absolutely bursting with flavor! What really stands out is how affordable everything is. You can get a feast for a very reasonable price, which is rare these days for food of this quality. And let me tell you about the service—it’s lightning-fast! I couldn’t believe how quickly our dishes were brought out, steaming hot and ready to enjoy. The staff is so friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Another huge plus is the parking. There’s plenty of it, so you never have to stress about finding a spot, even during busy times. This is a huge win for anyone who knows how tricky parking can get in Winston-Salem. I was in search of more traditional Chinese, and my friend in Qingdao gave it their seal of approval to try. It did not disappoint!! Service was excellent and helpful while deciding, food was delivered very quickly, and my god was it delicious! The Tri Pepper Chicken was VERY spicy, but delicious. The Wong Lo Kat drink was also fantastic - it's like a sweet canned tea beverage, with a similar flavor of Thai tea. Really glad I tried it!! It's now a must stop any time I visit Winston-Salem. Highly recommend!

Amazing food!! Incredible flavors and options for everyone. This was our first time, and we will certainly make the trip from Greensboro to come back! A small, unassuming location. The interior was simple, clean, and cozy. Our favorites: 1. Dan Dan Noodles (a MUST try) 2. Ma Po Tofu (incredible flavor texture) 3. Crispy Garlic Chicken (comforting, filling, and juicy!) Highly recommend this authentic Chinese spot!!

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for lunch after our class at Forsyth Tech. The inside feels very welcoming and cozy, whilst looking slightly upscale with the white table cloths and nice chairs. We ordered many things, which included the chicken Lo Mein, Ma Po Tofu with Minced Pork, and the Pork Soup Dumplings. All of the dishes came out quickly! They were all steaming hot and fresh. The taste of each of the dishes was absolutely savory and delicious. The staff were also very polite and made sure to check up on us multiple times. I will definitely be back soon to try more of your delectable food!

Me and my husband came here having no idea how good the food would turn out. The soup dumplings were delicious, organize chicken was also very tasteful, I do wish they would serve a soup or salad for lunch but besides that everything was very great and the staff were very friendly! We will be coming again.

Don’t let the outside foul you. The food here is delicious and in my opinion very authentic. Me and my husband came on a Saturday during rush hour and were served very quickly. The restaurant is clean and plays relaxing music !

Are here twice and I really enjoy it so far, I haven't found that 1 thing that blows me away yet. This time I had the twice fried pork and whole it was tasty, it wasn't what I was expecting. Still good though, but probably wouldn't order again. My wife got the dry pot chicken, it was very good. Will definitely be coming back and I recommend this for very authentic dishes.
